75th Anniversary of "Victory Day"

Last 9 of may was the 75 anniversary of the “Victory Day” an important celebration of ex sovietic countries. This day conmemorate the victory against the german nazis during the second world war. The 8 of may the Red Army enter in Berlin and the war ended.


This year, due to the coronavirus, Comrat could not make the big celebration of other years. The citizens had to come in small groups or individually to place flowers in memory of those who fought.

The government and certain personalities of Gagauzia were in charge of initiating this celebration. During the whole day the memorial was receiving the rest of Gagauzians people.
