« Active Youth Innovates » training in Vadul Lui Voda, Chisinau, Moldova
From the 7th to the 14th of May took place in Vadul Lui Voda, a town located in the municipality of Chisinau, Moldova, the training course “Active Youth Innovates” organized by the public association “Miras Moldova”, welcoming youth workers and trainers with the purpose of widening opportunities for Employment in Multicultural Communities.
Gathering motivated youth leaders and representatives from 8 countries (Moldova, Estonia, Georgia, Austria, Ukraine, Armenia, Portugal and Greece) who were hosted in Vadul Lui Voda, this seven-days training was held so as to answer the question: how can participative and practical creativity support employment?
During that week, the participants could fulfil the different goals of the training which were: - To get to know each other’s country and get all information related to problems of unemployment in their sector of activity. - To see how to improve interpersonal skills and professional competences, through various methods and workshops. - To interact and exchange views in order to stimulate youth projects and enhance their creativity. - To develop the “Creativity Concept” so as to enlighten multicultural creativity. - To promote social entrepreneurship and advise about possible business plans.
The trainers and the participants of the “Active Youth Innovates” program also had the opportunity to visit the historical city of Orhei close to Chisinau, typical Moldovan villages and the touristic complex of Château Vartely and its famous wine cellars. The youth involved would know more about the lifestyle, culture and identity of Moldova.
Eventually, the training was a useful opportunity for the trainers and participants to widen their possibilities to develop projects, encourage employment, and more importantly to promote equal chances and mutual respect through multicultural diversity.
