Summer activities and workshops in Comrat and Kirsova

This summer, the European volunteers of Miras Moldova Public Association organized local events for all children in the cities of Comrat and Kirsova. Involved in the program with the rehabilitation centers of Fidanjik (Comrat), Kirsova and Cioc-Maiden that intend to favor social and personal inclusion, the present volunteers from France and Turkey proposed activities and games so as to entertain and enlighten the everyday life of those who did not have the opportunities or possibilities to go on vacations.

The first major event occurred in the Rehabilitation Center of Kirsova which was reopened to enable the volunteers to set up animations. The first step was to help the children get to know each other through introducing games and energizers. Then the youth could be rather active and participative through various skill games and brainstorming activities to challenge but also support each other in a nice and pleasant atmosphere.

The second day on which were organized activities for children was on the main square of Comrat where outdoor games and practical, creative workshops were prepared by the volunteers. In the program, there were conceptions of juggling balls, brainstorming workshops, games of skills such as “ball on target”, “Chamboule-tout” and magic. That “Dien dlia Ditiei” (Day for Children) welcomed all children who looked for practical and inventive activities.

These are example of the works Miras Moldova Public Association carries out, with the purpose of putting a smile on people's faces and enhance cultural diversity and harmony to keep supporting social local organizations in Gagauzia thanks to the help of its European volunteers.
